“If I had children of my own I would love them to come to a school such as this”
Inspector of schools for the diocese.
Welcome to the website for our beautiful, one form entry, Church of England Aided primary school. At our school, children make great progress, attain very high standards, become independent thinkers and have a huge amount of fun! We are an established, thriving school with a proven track record of very high standards. We also have an amazing array of extra curricular activities.
We were the first school in Euxton to receive an Outstanding judgement from Ofsted, do click on the Ofsted image in the corner to view our latest report. Frequently 100% of children in Year 6 SATs gain at least a Level 4 in all subjects and make at least expected progress and approximately half gain level fives and more than expected progress! We help the children discover a joy for learning which is based on thinking skills. We promote independence and develop children’s talents. Every child in the Juniors learns a woodwind instrument (for free) and all the infants learn to cook and sew. We often excel in sports and offer a staggering fifteen activities for children outside lesson time.
What is most important, however, is the warmth of relationships between our pupils and the staff. We are also blessed by supportive parents, governors and the church community. We want our children to be happy, successful, feel really safe and to develop a sense of excitement and interest in the World around them.
